Another year older...

 

 

Our precious granddaughter, Ashlynn Kate will be 6 yr. old tomorrow.

We celebrated her birthday as a family yesterday. 

 

She requested poppy seed chicken, rice, broccoli and rolls for her birthday dinner and strawberry cupcakes for her "cake"!

 

We are so thankful that even though Stephanie is in Honduras she was able to share in the celebration with us over Skype. After Ashlynn opened her gifts from Aunt Stephanie we all took turns talking to her!

Birthdays and a Talent Show

 

Sunday, we had a  birthday celebration for our daughter, our son-in-law and our nephew. The night was spent eating favorite foods, opening silly cards, gifts, lots of laughter and a requested birthday desert for each one. I am so very thankful for our family that loves and laughs together. 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday we attended a talent show where 7 yr. old Colette read two funny poems. She was very poised as she read. You could tell by the laughter the audience enjoyed both of them.

 

 

 

 

Happy Birthday Molly Joy

Our sweet dog, Molly Joy, had a birthday Saturday.  She is 3 yr. old! Colette and her sister Sabrina brought Molly some gifts. Molly was so happy to see them and even happier when she realized what they brought her. We are thankful for our dog who brings us much happiness! We are also thankful for little girls who love our dog like we do.

Celebrating 11 years...

Today we celebrated our sweet Samuel's 11th birthday.

Our granddaughter, Ashlynn Kate, is 4 today!  Her birthday party will be next week but because Aunt Stephanie is in Honduras she had some gifts mailed to my house and Ashlynn was able to open them while Aunt Stephanie watched via skype!  I just had to buy her a Hello Kitty balloon for today.  That will be the theme of her birthday party.  We had a fun morning before Mommy and Daddy took her to the park to ride her new bike!  After they went to lunch she was allowed to choose a birthday cupcake for tonight.
